NEWS RELEASE: Deadline approaches to submit written comments in Island Park Water Company case BOISE (April 7, 2023) - Those interested in submitting comments in the Island Park Water
Company case have until next Wednesday to do so. The Idaho Public Utilities Commission hosted a show-cause hearing and customer hearing in Island Park on March 29. A show-cause hearing is held to give a utility the opportunity to appear before the commission and respond to questions regarding how the utility is being operated.
A customer hearing allows customers to submit testimony that becomes part of the formal record for a utility case. Eight people submitted testimony during the hearing, and the commission has received 19 written comments so far.
The commission is accepting comments on the case until Wednesday, April 12. Comments are required to be filed through the commission’s website or by e-mail unless computer access is unavailable. To comment electronically, please visit puc.idaho.gov and click on the “Case Comment Form” link on the upper left side of the homepage. Please complete the form using case number ISL-W-23-01.
