Actually we have been anticipating an increase for a number of years, but this request is
way too much, too quick. How about a gradual phase-in of this increase? Say 5 years or so.
The company has done little maintenance over the years and is now in desperate straights to
catch up. IP Water has ignored all homeowner's complaints during that time. That is hardly
the fault of the homeowners in the area . Additional if the increse would guarentee useable
water, then we'd be all for a phased-in increase. For years we have carried our own drinking
water to our place on Chickasaw Drive because the water is just plain nasty and off color
most of the summer. You might also think about charging more to those year- round residents
or those who occupy their homes for more time than many of us summer residents do. Thank you
for this opportunity to comment on the proposed rate increase for Island Park Water case #

We have a cabin in Island Park which we use 1 time a month. This water increase from
$125.00 to $280.00 per year seems excessive. A 225% increase is not acceptable in any
industry or business. This may cause us to rethink keeping the propery in Island Park.
Please rethink this increase, and bring it down to a reasonable level.
