SUBJECT IN TIIE MATTER OF GEM STATE WATER COMPAI\IY LLC'S
APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN ITS
RATES AND CHARGES FOR WATER SERVICE IN THE STATE OF
IDAIIO; CASE NO. GSW-W-22-01.
On July 2I,2022, Gem State Water Company, LLC ("Company") filed an Application
requesting Commission authorization to increase its rates and charges for water service. The
Company requested its Application be processed by Modified Procedure and that any changes to
its rates and charges be effective for bills rendered on or after September 1,2022.
On August 10, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 35498. Order No. 35498 directed Staff to confer with the parties
regarding the procedural schedule after the Notice of Parties issued.
There were no intervenors in this case.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
After conferring with the Company, Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of
Modified Procedure establishing a January 11,2023, public comment deadline and a January 31,
2023, Company comment reply deadline.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Modified Procedure and establish a public
comment deadline of January 11,2023, and a Company comment reply deadline of January 31,
2023?
