Comment: "While I acknowledge that there has not been a rate increase in some time and some increase might be warranted, I am not aware of any infrastructure needs that require a 67%
increase in one fell swoop. My real property taxes literally doubled this year, I have been forced into retirement and make less than half what I did when I was employed, and every
other bill I have has increased significantly. I feel this is burdensome and an increase of this magnitude should not be allowed. The gallonage allowed before overages are assessed is so
minimal that a household can barely be maintained without overages. We have significant overages of hundreds of dollars per month in the warmer months to do minimal watering of our
livestock and yard and an increase of this size would mean we would have to stop watering and 20 years of work will be destroyed."
