Comment: "The rate increases proposed by gem state are not justified. With unresolved water pressure issues and no correction in sight I see no need for a rate increase. And then to set a
different rate based on your meter size really is price gouging. I do not know if I have a 11/2” or a 1” meter. But I sure don’t want to be charged for 20,000 gallons of water when 7 or 8
months of the year I use less then 10,000. Meter size has nothing to do with the amount of water I consume. When we barely have water pressure for a shower, how is the fire
department going to put a fire out? This safety concern has not been addressed. I have been told from the company the corrections are being engineered, but that was over a year ago with
no correction. Please deny this outrageous rate design and hike proposal. Thank you for your time. Ted Baldwin"
