Comment: "Dear commissioners, I received a letter from Gem State Water requesting an increase in our water rate of 135%. I am very upset about this request as I believe it is absurd.
I could see a 10% 20% rate increase but 135% is ridiculous. My water bill in the end of summer is sometimes $400 a month just from watering my grass my flowers my garden and
could you imagine what it will be at 135% increase. I would possibly have to consider moving. So please commissioners I hope that you would understand the hardship this would
be on all of us here in our neighborhood on Silver Meadows Loop, and reject their ridiculous outrageous increase that they are asking for."
