WORKSHOP

ORDER NO. 35580

On July 21, 2022, Gem State Water Company, LLC (“Company”) filed an Application
requesting Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) authorization to increase its rates
and charges for water service. The Company requested its Application be processed by Modified
Procedure and that any changes to its rates and charges be effective for bills rendered on or after
September 1, 2022.
On September 6, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice of Application, a Notice of
Intervention Deadline, and a Notice of Suspension of the Proposed Effective Date. Order No.
35498. There are no intervenors in this case. On October 6, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice
of Modified Procedure. Order No. 35548.
The Commission now provides notice of a public workshop.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKSHOP
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED the Commission has determined that Commission Staff
(“Staff”) should conduct a public informational workshop at the Molstead Library building’s Todd
Lecture Hall at the North Idaho College Campus, 1000 West Garden Avenue, Coeur d’Alene, ID
83814 on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2022, from 6 P.M. – 9 P.M. local time. The purpose of
the workshop is for Staff to dispense information concerning the Company’s application and to
receive written or oral comments from the public before Staff files testimony or comments. At the
workshop, the public may ask Staff about the Application, and how customers may further
participate in the proceeding.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Staff shall conduct a public informational workshop at
the Molstead Library building’s Todd Lecture Hall at the North Idaho College Campus, 1000 West
Garden Avenue, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814, on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2022, from 6 P.M.
– 9 P.M. local time.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that parties comply with Order No. 35375, issued April 21,
2022. Generally, all pleadings should be filed with the Commission electronically and will be
deemed timely filed when received by the Commission Secretary. See Rule 14.02. Service between
parties should continue to be accomplished electronically when possible. However, voluminous
discovery-related documents may be filed and served on CD-ROM or a USB flash drive.
