BACKGROUND
On February 15 2006, the Commission received, via e-mail, a notification to cancel
Acceris Communications Corp. certification. Counsel for the Company indicated that

upon the fact that Acceris currently has no customers, Acceris asserts that the voluntary
discontinuance of its certification will have no adverse impact upon consumers.
Acceris was granted a certificate in Case No. ACC-04-01 on November 10 2004.
Certificate No. 437 was issued November 23 2004.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the request and agrees that there will be no customers impacted by the
cancellation of this certificate and recommends approval. Does the Commission agree?
