REVISING LANGUAGE IN ITS DIGITAL TRANSPORT SERVICE
TARIFF THAT INDICATES THAT A MULTI-LINE SUBSCRIBER LINE
CHARGE (SLC) WILL APPLY FOR EACH TERMINATION.
DISCUSSION
On February 15 2006, Potlatch Telephone filed its tariff advice requesting Commission
authority to update its current tariff language regarding the SLC charges it assesses on the
number of trunk terminations the customer requests for each DS 1 connection. This is simply a
language revision to clarify the terms surrounding the charges. The new language states:
Applicable F.C. charges will be assessed per the NECA F.CC. Access Tariff No. 5.
COMMISSION DECISION
Because these are federal charges, it is staff s recommendation to allow such language in
the local tariff for information purposes only. Does the Commission agree?
