Regarding this case there are some issues that I would like addressed prior to the final
decision. It is important that water be provided to this area as soon as possible because
of the water table. I would propose that whichever company can provide water and guarantee
the water supply be given the entire area. In my particular situation, I would hook up to
any water available, immediately.
I have had a discussion with a representative of United Water about water service in this
area and was told that the reason that water had not been brought in was the lack of the
water supply, if this is the case, I am curious how United Water can furnish water to the
several new subdivisions that are being constructed both on Bogart Lane and Duncan Street
and still anticipate accommodating the water requirements in this area. I would assume
that the PUC has been given some assurances from both companies regarding their ability to
supply water to this area.
If this area is split between Eagle Water and United Water is there a proposed time frame
after the final decision as to when water will be available? Again I must stress that
this could become a critical problem in the near future and anything that can be done to
expedite the availability of water would be greatly appreciated.
