TheprcjectwillalsocrossHighway26going wesl and connecting 12" line for Ande6on Commercial Park (See attached map). Using hydraulic modeling scenarios, it was detemined that the best site for the system's next well will be in the Anderson Commercial Park. The well prcject is planned for 2020. To get the most out of the well, the looping on lona Road and Hitt Road is needed. The poected cost for the looping is $934,200. This prcject willinstallapproximately6,400linearfeetofl2'walermainandboresundertworailroadcrossings,anirigationcanal, andHighway26totalingapproximate450 linear feet. The planned loop will provide an alternate route for water lo flow from Well I (the closest well to the curent dead end on Hitt Road) to the north of the railroad tracks. The land east of Hitt Road and south of the railroad tracks is curently gravel pits for a half a mile. No altemate route is feasible to cross the railroad tracks in that half mile. Curent pressures during the summer monlhs are usually in the 80 to 87 psi range. The prcist would help reduce the excess pressure in this area and push water to the northem part of the system where it is needed. ' ,:l",,ffirouLs WmrffiR t I, : .. i::.;,.'u--8.: .'
