Supplemental information for question 13:
List of new subdivisions (see attached will serve letter) added to water system in 2016 include:
Crow Creek Estates Division 3
Green Valley Subdivision Division 3
Green Valley Subdivision Division 4
Red Rock Estates Division 10
Supplemental information for question 20:
On July 14,2016, our system pressure dropped below 40 psi in the Birchwood
subdivision on the northern end of our system. We contacted DEQ about the issue and
they sent the letter attached to this report. ln the letter, the recommendations were to
'restrict water usage (e.9. day, time, duration), which the system has already attempted
to implement, or increase capacity through additional sources, storage, or pumping
capacity.' The company is now taking action to increase supply, which is the most cost
effective means to correct the problem.
See attached Spout copy for copy of summary requested in question 23.
Spout sent to customers in July 2016.

Re: Maintaining Minimum Pressure Requirements Throughout the Entire Distribution
System in f,'alls Water Company PWS# 7100030
DearMr- Wise,
In reviewing pressure data that was recently collected within the Fatls Water Company water system, it
has been determined that some of the areas of the dishibution system are falling below the minimum
pressure requirements set forth by the Department. The Idaho Rules for Public Drinking Water
Systems stiates the following:
58.0f .08.548.01.b.v - Public water systems shall maintain a minimum pressure of forty (40)
psi throughout the distribution system, during peak hour demand conditions, excluding fire
flow, measured at the service connection or along the property line adjacent to the consumer's
premises.
58.01.08.548.01.b.i - Any public water system shall be capable of providing sufEcient water
during maximum day demand conditions, including fire flow where provided, to maintain a
minimum pressure of trventy (20) psi throughout the distribution system, at ground level, as
measured at the service connection or along the property line adjacent to the consumer's
premises.
The recent pressure date (auached) taken on Thursday July l4h demonstrate that during the hours of
3am to 6am the pressure taken frorn the Edwards location dropped below 40 psi and to as low as 35
psi. It is not known if the system could maintain 20 psi at this location if there happened to be a fire
event.
The Falls Water Company is required to maintain 40 psi throughout the system and must take
corrective action to ensure minimum pressure is met- The corrective action could be to restrict water
usage (e.g. day, time, duration), which the system has already attempted to implement, or increase
capacity through additional sources, storage, or pumping capacity.
