MOTION FOR APPROVAL OF
STIPULATION AND SETTLEMENT

Falls Water Co., Inc. (“Falls Water” or “Company”) moves the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission (“Commission”) for an Order accepting the Stipulation and Settlement entered into
by the Company and Staff for the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Staff”) (collectively,
“Parties,” individually, “Party”) filed herewith. IDAPA 31.01.01.56, .272, .274.
As set forth in the Stipulation and Settlement, after a number of production requests,
settlement meetings, and related conversations, the Company and Staff have agreed upon terms
for resolution of the issues presented in this proceeding, contingent upon the Commission’s
approval of the Stipulation and Settlement.
The Parties agree that the Stipulation and Settlement represents a reasonable compromise
of their respective positions in the proceeding, and that the rates resulting from the terms of the

Stipulation and Settlement are fair, just, and reasonable, in the public interest, and otherwise in
accordance with law and regulatory policy.
For these reasons, Falls Water respectfully requests that the Commission issue an order:
1. Establishing a procedural schedule for comments by the Parties and by the public,
a customer hearing, and any other procedural steps related to consideration of the Stipulation and
Settlement;
2. Accepting the Stipulation and Settlement in its entirety, without material change
or condition;
3. Authorizing the Company to implement revised tariff schedules in accordance
with the Stipulation and Settlement, effective December 15, 2023; and
4. Any other relief that the Commission deems proper under the circumstances.
