NEWS RELEASE: Commission will host public workshop to share information on water utility
application to build infrastructure
BOISE (July 15,2021) - The Idaho Public Utilities Commission will hold a public workshop on
Tuesday, }uly 27, to present information on an application from Falls Water Co. lnc. to
build a new well, a new water-storage tank and a wellhouse along with related improvements at
the company's Taylor Mountain Water System.
Falls Water previously received approval to add a well to its infrastructure, which was put into
service in June of 2018. In20l9, Falls Water commissioned an engineering study and Drinking
Water Capital Facilities Plan to identifu other needs. The plan contained a hydraulic model that
recornmended projects including additional wells as well as storage for water.
The public workshop will be held Tuesday, July 27, at 7:00 p.m. (MST). At the workshop, staff
with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission will give a presentation and answer questions. Those

2021. Comments are required to be filed by e-mail unless e-mail is unavailable. To submit
