NOTICE OF LIVE-STREAMED
PUBLIC WORKSHOP
On June 30, 2020, Falls Water Company, Inc. (“Falls Water” or “Company”) filed an
Application requesting authorization to raise the rates it charges for water service.
On July 16, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Suspension of Proposed Effective Date. Order No. 34725. The Commission suspended the
Company’s proposed effective date of August 15, 2020, for 30 days plus five months pursuant to
Idaho Code § 61-622(4). See Id.
On December 4, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Modified Procedure and
Notice of Telephonic Public Hearing. Order No. 34858. The Commission established a comment
deadline of January 11, 2021, a reply comment deadline of January 25, 2021, and set a telephonic
public hearing for January 14, 2021.
Now, the Commission Secretary issues this Notice of Live-Streamed Public Workshop
to be conducted by Commission Staff on January 5, 2021.
BACKGROUND
This Commission approved the acquisition of Falls Water by NW Natural Water
Company, LLC in July 2018. Order No. 34103. NW Natural Water Company, LLC is a wholly
owned subsidiary of NW Natural Holdings Company, which was created during a corporate
reorganization of Northwest Natural Gas Company and its affiliates. In this Application, Falls
Water requests authorization to increase its rates by an average of 19.12%, which would increase
the Company’s revenues by $344,175.
NOTICE OF LIVE-STREAMED PUBLIC WORKSHOP
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission Staff will hold a virtual public
workshop to be live-streamed for Falls Water customers on TUESDAY, JANUARY 5, 2021,
COMMENCING AT 6:00 P.M. MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME (“MST”). Commission
Staff will present the Company’s Application, discuss its analysis of the Application to date, and

take questions from members of the public. The workshop will last until 8:00 p.m. MST, or until
Staff’s presentation has concluded and all questions have been addressed, whichever occurs
earlier. Those interested in participating can access the virtual public workshop two ways:

At the next window, enter your name, e-mail address, and the password Jan5Workshop.

2) By phone: dial 1-415-655-0001 and enter access code 177 343 7276.
The public workshop is intended to provide the public the opportunity to hear from
Commission Staff regarding Commission Staff’s analysis of the Company’s Application and to
allow Commission Staff to hear public concerns and address questions from the public.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Company’s Application, and other
supporting documents can be accessed by going to www.puc.idaho.gov clicking on “Water” then
“Open Cases” and selecting the case number FLS-W-20-03.
