RE:QWEST CORPORATION'S COMPLIANCE FILING FOR EAS
BETWEEN MERIDIAN, KUNA, STAR AND MIDDLETON TO
LOWMAN. CASE NO. QWE-05-ORDER NO. 29799.
On June 14, 2005, the Commission issued Order No. 29799 approving extended area
service (EAS) between the Lowman exchange and the Meridian, Kuna, Star, and Middleton
exchanges. These EAS routes were approved in order to implement Qwest's request to
consolidate the Boise and Meridian rate centers. On October 19 2005, Qwest filed tariff
revisions implementing this change. Staff has reviewed the filing and finds that it accurately
reflects the Commission decision in Order No. 29799 in Case No. QWE- T -05-10.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission approve Qwest's filing complying with Order
No. 29799.
