Raising the rates 26+ % is not good for the economy. $19+monthly fee with the maximum o
5000 (especially in the summer) is bad for the elderly an those with large families. You
wil see a lot of lawns dry up this year. I am a senior citien on a fixed income and high
medical bills ( I have acute leukemis). Also, why should the rest of us who paid for our
meters pay for those whom you hve installing free -- sell the the meters to them at cost
plus a fee of $25 per month until paid for, not penalie the rest of us. With high gas
prices, we cannot also afford extra high water rates at well. An exrrealy high increase in
water wates will hurt the community.
