We feel that this increase is substantial enough to be a burden financially. If the rate per
gallon will increase then it seems too expensive for the patrons to also decrease the base
amount of gallons we are permitted to use before the additional charges are imposed. Please
consider a smaller increase. Thank you.

Hmmmm, to whom it may concern. I get that cost of living goes up, but we still have the
same amount of children, the same amount of property and the same amount of expectations for
the utilities that we pay for. We don't get paid anymore money, and with gas prices we are
already feeling a crunch in our groceries, and driving to and from work. We as good
neighbors like to have a nice looking yard (water) and be able to bathe our children (water)
and cook (water)for our children without feeling the crunch there as well. If you need to
increase our water I could pay the extra however I have never paid $16.10 in the summer
months because of our water usage, we would be paying upwards of the $44.00 estimated a month
in water and I find that ridiculous. Donut cut our water amount to 5,000 gallons a month
that is highway robbery if you ask me. LEAVE OUR WATER ALLOTED AMOUNT ALONE!!!! ANGRY AT
OUR HOUSE... RONALEE and TROY WILLIAMS

Why are our water rates going up and the alotted gallons going down? Increasing our rates
by 48% is unacceptable.

I hear that Falls Water Company is requesting a rate increase. I understand that the cost
of everything seems to go up, but it appears Falls Water is asking to raise both the base
rate from $16.10 to $19.18 for a 3/4' line, but simultaneously reducing the volume of water
included in that base price from 12,000 gallons down to 5,000. So what appears to be 'only'
a 19% increase (which is itself outrageous and on par with outrageous health care inflation),
is actually when looking at the true rate increase (factoring in the corresponding volume
reduction) a 48% increase. The PUC is the only line of defense for the public against abuses
by public utility monopolies. Please honor this position of trust.

I am opposed to the rate increase as proposed by Falls Water Co. Over the past few years,
we as a household, have had to find ways to cut expenses and lifestyle in order to live
within our means. We have had projects that have been cut or slowed to accommodate cash flow.
I do not see any reason why Falls Water cannot do the same!
I can only imagine what my bill will look like in the summer months as we water our gardens
and lawn, not to mention my elderly neighbors who are relying on their fixed retirement
income, what will they do?
I understand that a company has to make money to stay in business but the rate of increase
is ridiculous. I urge the Puc to deny the request for a proposed rate increase of the size
proposed.
