VIe are opposed tÖthe proposed general rate increase.
In 2011 we paid Falls Water Co. $255.49, an average of$21.29 per month.
Assuming the same water usage in 2012, We would pay $323.96, an average
of $27.00 per month.

However, the monthly bills from June through September would be
staggering if a 26.8% increase were approved.
We are receiving a 3.6% increase in Social Securty benefits for 2012. We
suggest that å 3.6% increase would be more realistic than a 26.8% increase.

is definitely not the time for a 26.8% increase in anything.

Falls Water Price Increase
To Know It concern,
I concern tht ths price increase is high concernng ths the second price I have since I've move
here eight ago. I've starng for the water at $12. and now they want to about $20. If they keep
raising price at ths rate when I retire in eight year the water bil be at $40. tht would mean
that they raise their prices about 4 times the price that I've sta with. My pay a work doesn't
increase at that rate.
I've think they should have a reserve fud for replacing and fixing old pipes and not always passing
the cost on the customer. We as customer have to have reserve fuds to fix or replace our propert.
There are people in my resident that a $4 to $5 hur them. It means their kids would have to
without a meal for the month because of the increase. We also have people on fixed income
whose income only increase about 3 percent in the last three year.
I've think that Falls Water is asking a lot when they had a 33 percent rate increase about two and
half year ago. They are asking for 25 percent increase.

I received notice that our water bill could possibly be raising 26%. I was alarmed by that
because it is such a large percentage but the more I got looking into it, I feel that Falls
Water is being untruthful about it and I DO NOT support the increase. They state that the
base rate will raise 26% but our water allowance is going to lower from 12,000 gallons to
5,000. If we were to continue to use the 12,000 gallons, our bill will raise to $44.11. So,
in my mind our rate is going to raise over 50%. So not only will our rate increase, but our
water allowance will decrease by more then half. This is not justified in my mind and my
vote is a definite NO!

I recently became aware that Falls Water is trying to increase their rates by 26% and cut our
allowed water usage by more than 50%. I believe that this is much too high of a raise in
price. This will make our water bills in the summer outrageously high. I am very opposed to
this proposal!

If feel the rate increase they are asking for is not needed. During this time of economic
troubles, with many struggling to get by on a daily basis the rates for water are going to go
up by 26.52%. The rates increased last year, and that was hard. Let i s not let the rates
increase again. Not only will we as consumers be paying more for the water but we will be
allotted less water. So many would have to pay $45 more during the hot summer months this
year if they rate increase happens than the already high bill we are paying.
Please to not allow a rate increase of 26.52% to happen. The company can do better at
reducing their costs, without having to place the burden of higher wages, more office space
etc. on its customers.

I am making a formal complaint against the falls water bill increase that will not only
affect our family, but others in general. To also cut our water supply with no explanation of
cause to do so, is by far unethical.
I feel like the notice sent out did not inform all residents that will be affected by this
increase.
