On August 4, 2009, Falls Water Company filed an Application for authority to
increase its total revenue requirement by $143,496., or 14.39%. The Company requested that
the Application be processed by Modified Procedure and that the tariff changes become effective
September 10, 2009.
On September 2 2009, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline that suspended the Company s proposed effective date of September 10
2009. Order No. 30893. No parties petitioned to intervene. On September 16, 2009, a Notice of
Public Workshop and Notice of Modified Procedure was issued setting a deadline for comments
to be filed no later than October 7, 2009.Order No. 30899.On September 30, 2009
Commission Staff filed a Motion to Suspend Deadline for Filing Comments. The Commission
granted Staff s Motion to Suspend and directed Staff to present a feasible schedule to the
Commission for approval after meeting with the parties to discuss the processing of this case.

received within the time limit set, the Commission will consider this matter on its merits and
enter its Order without a formal hearing. If written comments are received within the time limit
set, the Commission will consider them and, in its discretion, may set the same for formal
hearing.

BOISE. IDAHO Persons wishing to offer their testimony telephonically or listen to the
proceedings may dial toll-free (800) 920-7487; Participant Code 76373262.The purpose of the
hearing is to take public comment and testimony. The telephonic hearing will be conducted as
follows:
Everyone on the call will be able to hear the proceeding.
. Everyone s phone will be automatically muted except for the person
testifying.
If you would like to testify, press * 1 (star one) on your phone key pad.
This will sign you up (put you in the queue) to testify.
. When it is your turn to testify, you will hear the prompt "ask your
question ; at that time, you will be sworn in, asked to state your full name
spell your last name, and give your full address.
. When you testify we ask that you eliminate any background noise, such as
the TV, radio, etc., in order for us to clearly hear and record your
testimony. At the conclusion of your testimony you may be asked
questions.
If at any time after you sign up to testify, you decide that you do not want

facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

workpapers and exhibits (if any) have been filed with the Commission and are available for
public inspection during regular business hours at the Commission offices. The Application and
workpapers are also available on the Commission s web site at www.puc.idaho.gov by clicking
on "File Room" and then "Water Cases.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission has jurisdiction over this
matter pursuant to Title 61 of the Idaho Code and specifically Idaho Code 99 61-124, 61-125
61-129, 61-622, and 61-623. The Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its
authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be
conducted pursuant to the Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAP A 31.01.01.000 et seq.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Commission shall conduct a telephonic hearing
