Last night on the evening news, it was stated that Falls Water Company wanted a 46% rate
increase to pay for meters for those who don't have them. WHY should I PAY for some
else's meter when I had to pay for my own when I purchased my home. Everyone should be
responsible for paying for their OWN METER, not have the cost passed onto those who have
already paid. As stated before, I am on a limited income and with rising gas, food prices
and property taxes, this is just too much -- 46 percent is ridiculous.
