The rate hike states metered residential will increase from $14.96 to $24.64 per month. Therefore, a resident that waters a ten-squarefoot lawn pays the same as the resident that waters a 10,000 square foot lawn and bothexamples can water 24-hours per day if they choose without increased costs since they are charged a flat rate. This results in wasted water. I do not understand a flat rate formetered anything. Transaction 10: 1231320.
