Comment description: ~elieve that this rate hike of over 65% is not justified. Falls
Water has known about the growth in this area and has actually partivipated with local
governments in planning and zoning meetings. Therefore, their lack of forsight to plan
for this growth does not justify a 65% increase in our water bills. The propose changes
not substantially increase our monthly bill, but reduce the entitlement of water by overhalf. Please do not pass this request. The growth numbers they are seeing in customers
should easily provide for the necessary staff to provide service.

Comment description: There always seems to be increases in all utilities, but never muchincrease in job pay. We have had many people move into the area recently and now it seems
that we are being asked to pay for the equiptment to increase water flow to new
development. We paid substantually for hook up in our area back when we came and don
think it fair for our rates to increase to pay for the increase in new buildingpopulation. Increases in the rates should be passed onto builders and built into the cost
of the sale of the home. Not into our already paid for and established homes and lines. I
realize costs for development will always increase and see the need to keep pace but
remember that those of us who have been here a while have already paid for the equiptmentto bring water and other utili ties to our area and our homes. We shouldn t have to pay
for it again.

Comment description: I would like to propose a negative comment for Falls Water rate
increase proposal! The rate increases are huge! We are getting charged more for lesswater than they are currently supplying. They want to charge us 36% more per gallon,
reduce the amount for that cost by nearly 60% as well as increase the overage charge by
over 100%. I do not like this. Falls Water is stating that because of the development
that is happening in our area, they need to charge more. This argument does not makesense. I f they charge the new folks as much as existing (charging developers as well for
water that they use), then I don t see the reasoning for this large of an increase. I am
not amussed with their application for rate increase!

To whom this may concern
I am writing to you because a neighbor has brought some disturbing information to me!
I have purchased a new home in Cornerstone Community and so far really like it. When I
was approached by a neighbor about the proposed rate hikes, I was out raged! I cannot
believe that you are not only raising our bill but also decreasing our water amounts!
I am against this rate hike and YOU (IPUC); need to prove to YOUR customers
that this is a necessary expense!
