Comment description: Falls Water Company not only wants to raise our rates, but they alsowant to drop our gallons of water that are included in the rate. We currently have 20,000
gal. per month for $11.50--winter and summer. They want to decrease to 15,000 gal. for
the winter, and only 8,000 gal. in the summer when we need it the most. This is a double
hit for us---raise the rates AND drop the service?!! We know that the chlorination of our
water that just started needs to be paid by the customers, but I know that it won t cost
us THAT much! And it is not fair to divide the rates and gallons per rate for Winter and
Summer. If this proposal is allowed, we will get our gallons in the Summer cut by 12,000
GALLONS! ! ! !! That is more than half of our usual gallons!!! The Summer months are when we
need the most water! Please don t let them do this to us. It isn t a fair dea~--we have
no problem paying a little more to help cover the extra expenses, but don t let them also
cut our gallons per month!
