Comment = descriptIon: I am writing to protest the increase that Falls Water is proposing.
As it sits right now, we can barely afford the prices that they charge now. It wasnthat long ago that it was increased. By my calculations it was somewhere around 77%
increased the last time. This increase will not only kill us as far as having to pay for
our other bills as well as this one, but it will decrease the amount of water that we get
all together. I feel as though we are being given less and less with no betterexpectations from our water company. I have received multiple notices from our company
stating that as our water was tested it tested positive for bacteria and such that
shouldn t be there. Nothing is being done to keep our company from doing it's job now.
Why should we pay for them to give us less, charge us more and still not give us anappropriate product? Please don t let them do this to us again. We can t afford it!

Comment description: I received a letter dated November 7 , 2005 regarding proposed rate
increases for all Falls Water Company, Inc. customers. I do not know the case number but
was directed to this web-site to post comments. I understand that upgrades are necessary
to replace an aging infrastructure, etc. but believe that costs should be increased at
equal percentages to all customers. For instance, why are meterer costomer I s annual rates
increased from 64.7%-76.1% and non-metered rates are increased a minor 10%? That does not
seem fair.
