It came to my attention that the cost was there biggest concern. I do not believe they have explored all of their options in finding help to fundthe upgrades and purchase of Eagle Water Company. I know there are many federal programs available for this specific infrastructure problem (Water Systems) Even before Covid and thenew money available for more infrastructure projects being promoted now. I believe given time and an actual effort on their part to explore opportunities outside of just a single bondmeasure , could and will greatly improve our system at a more affordable cost to citizens. Many of these programs are only available to cities so a private company such as SUEZ is at adisadvantage, to keeping cost down for citizens because they will not qualify for these grants, and other programs. I also believe that our water should stay under local control, under anycircumstances. I suggested a surveying of the population in Eagle to gather a more informed decision that would be based on what the citizens want and they choose not to? In other wordsthey did not have adequate citizen involvement and based there decision on not wanting to commit the money, without due diligence on be half of the citizens, that could of brought abetter solution to everyone. I do not feel the decision should move forward until all options have been considered in earnest. Maybe you can give them some guidance on how to achievethis objective. Thank You.
