SUBJECT FURTHER CONTINUANCE OF THE STAY OF PROCEEDINGS

ln November 2015, Eagle Water Company filed an Application seeking authority to
implement a 53.82Yo surcharge on its customers' water usage. The Commission suspended the
effective date until March 10, 2016. Order No. 33430. The Company subsequently agreed to
several further suspensions. See Order Nos. 33478, 33509. On August 10, 2016, the
Commission approved a stipulation between the Company and Staff to stay all proceedings in
this matter for one year, or "until such a time that the parties file a joint motion to lift the stay."
Order No. 33567.
As reported in August, a full settlement has been reached. However, settlement
documents and supporting testimony are still being finalized. Accordingly, at this time, Staff is
requesting an indefinite stay of proceedings.
