SUBJECT: FURTHER CONTINUANCE OF THE STAY OF PROCEEDINGS
CASE NO. EAG.W-15.01
In November 2015, Eagle Water Company filed an Application seeking authority to
implement a 53.82%o surcharge on its customers' water usage. The Commission suspended the
effective date until March 10,2016. Order No. 33430. The Company subsequently agreed to
several further suspensions. See Order Nos. 33478, 33509. On August 10, 2016, the
Commission approved a Stipulation between the Company and Staff to stay all proceedings in
this matter for one year, or "until such a time that the parties file a joint motion to lift the stay."
Order No. 33567.
On August 2,2017, the parties met, and can now report to the Commission that a full
settlement of matter has been reached. However, settlement documents and supporting
testimony will not be able to be produced by August 10, 2017. Accordingly, the parties have
agreed that the case be stayed for an additional two months, until October 10,2017 . At that time,
or before, the parties will present the Commission with a proposed settlement agreement for
consideration.
