On August 4,2017,Commission Staff notified the Commission that the parties have
reached a settlement in this matter,and request a further stay of two months,until October 11,
2017,to give the parties sufficient time to generate settlement documents for Commission
approval.Previously,the proceedings were stayed for one year,with that stay expiring on
August 11,2017.See OrderNo.33567.
FINDINGS
We find sufficient cause to grant the request of a further stay.No party will be
prejudiced by the extension,and no harm will come to ratepayers as a result.Accordingly,
pursuant to the Commission’s authority under Rule 248,we grant the parties’request to further
stay this action.Further,we look forward to reviewing the proposal for settlement.Once
settlement documents are filed,the Commission will review the settlement and issue an Order
addressing any proposal.Notably,“[t]he Commission is not bound to adopt a stipulation of the
parties,but may by order do so.”Id.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this matter is further stayed until October 11,2017.
