Dear Ms. Jewell:
I am enclosing a bound copy of a PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT by
MTC , Inc. for Eagle Water Company, Inc. This Preliminary Engineering
Report was delivered to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality on
May 31 , 2006, in compliance with a Consent Order entered into by Eagle
Water Company in February of 2006.
Pursuant to the DEQ Consent Order, a Final Engineering Report will be
completed by MTC , Inc. once DEQ has had an opportunity to review the
preliminary report. Once a Final Engineering Report is completed, Eagle
Water Company intends to file a copy of said report in support of an
application to the Commission for funding to implement recommended
improvements, as contemplated by the Commission s order in the above
referenced case (Order No. 29903 at p. 7). Until such time, this Preliminary
Engineering Report is being provided for the Commission Staffs informal
reVIew.
