Comment:I am writing to comment on the recent proposal by the DBE Water Company’s proposal to raise water rates
by 80%.Their reasoning is because of multiple failures of their pump this past summer.I think this rate increase is very
excessive.I am not sure,but I would think the pump failures would be covered by warranties and/or insurance,so that
does not justify such a drastic increase.I know this is a for profit company,but I think that the rates should only be
increase gradually,and only in small increments.
