NEW CUSTOMER CONNECTION CHARGES
For a first time connection to the Diamond Bar Estates Water Company
system when an existing Service line and meter base
are already in place on the property the cost is $310.
If there is no service line tap to the Company s water mains or
meter box in place on the property the cost is $2500.
When the installation of a new service line requires the Company to
bore a line under a road, all additional costs will be charged to
the customer on a time and materials basis. The new customer may,
at their option, hire a Diamond Bar Water Company approved
independent contractor to perform the road bore and connection. TheCompany will require such contractor to show proof of bonding,
licensing and insurance and have at least five (5) years of
experience at hot tapping water lines. Diamond Bar Estates WaterCompanys Water Master will inspect and approve all the work being
performed to insure compliance with the Company s installationrequirements.
