RE:VERIZON NORTHWEST, INC. ADVICE NO. 05-04.
On June 20, 2005, the Commission received Advice No. 05-04 from Verizon Northwest
Inc. In this filing, Verizon requests approval to add two-year term commitments for
Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Cell Relay Service (CRS) to the Access Tariff, I.P.
No.9. Verizon s Idaho ATM two-year contract is being introduced to allow a smooth transition
when local ATM is interconnected with the National ATM service currently offered under a two-
year commitment. The new terms will be comprised of User to Network Interfaces (UNIs)
offered both as a port only service and as a bundled port and access service.

Staff has reviewed the filing and the attached financial information that included a five-
year revenue analysis, cost analysis and margin analysis. Staff finds that rates are above costs
and recommends approval of this filing.
