I am opposed to the water rate increase proposed by CCHU because it shows no justification
for the amount of the increase. An increase of $8 for half the water, I would be very
interested to see how this increase is warranted.
The "method to pay for repairs..."(press release) should come from Mr. Groth's personal credit
as he is the owner of the company. After all he is the one who absorbs the profits. It's
the cost/benefit of doing business.
If there are justified expenses/upgrades needed/required then maybe, but a 103% increase,
that should have more justification than just because its last increase was in 2005.
