On March 22,2012,Country Club Hill Utilities,Inc.(“CCHU”or “Company”)filed
an Application requesting authority to increase its rates and charges for water service.The
Company is seeking Commission authorization for an approximately 32%increase in its rates for
water service.
On April 12,2012,the Commission issued a Notice of Application and suspended the
Company’s Application for a period of 30 days plus 5 months pursuant to Idaho Code §61-622.
See Order No.32518.Subsequently,Commission Staff (“Staff’)submitted requests for
production of documents and information pertaining to the Company’s Application and the
Company filed responses to the Staffs production requests.
NOTICE OF MODIFIED PROCEDURE
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission has reviewed the Company’s
filing in Case No.CCH-W-12-01 and finds that the public interest may not require a formal
hearing in this matter and will proceed under Modified Procedure pursuant to Rules 201 through
204 of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission’s Rules of Procedure,IDAPA 31.01.01.201
through .204.The Commission notes that Modified Procedure and written comments have
proven to be an effective means for obtaining public input and participation.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that any person desiring to state a position
concerning CCHU’s request to increase its rates and charges may file a written comment in
support or opposition with the Commission.The comment must contain a statement of reasons

supporting the comment.Persons desiring a hearing must specifically request a hearing in their
written comments.Written comments concerning CCHU’s request to increase its rates and

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that persons desiring to intervene in Case No.
CCH-W-12-01 for the purpose of becoming a party,i.e.,to present evidence,to acquire rights of
cross-examination,to participate in settlement or negotiation conferences,and to make and argue
motions must file a Petition to Intervene with the Commission pursuant to Rules 72 and 73 of the
Commission’s Rules of Procedure,IDAPA 31.01.01.072 and .073.Persons desiring to acquire
intervenor rights of participation must file a Petition to Intervene on or before Friday,August
17,2012.Persons desiring intervenor status shall also provide the Commission Secretary with
their electronic mail address to facilitate future communications in this matter.

workshop for CCHU customers on TUESDAY,AUGUST 21,2012,AT 7:00 P.M.IN THE
SOUTH ROOM OF THE SKYLINE ACTIVITY CENTER,1575 N.SKYLINE,IDAHO
FALLS,IDAHO.At this meeting customers will have an opportunity to hear from Commission
Staff regarding the Company’s Application in Case No.CCH-W-12-01 and ask questions of
Staff and representatives of the Company.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this case shall be processed under Modified
Procedure with a public workshop to be held in Idaho Falls,Idaho on the date,time and place
outlined above.Interested persons may file written comments with the Commission no later than
September 17,2012.
