ATM CELL RELAY SERVICE. ADVICE NO. 05-04.
On June 20, 2005 , Verizon filed a tariff advice to add a two-year term commitment
option for Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Cell Relay Service (CRS). This service is
currently available in one-, three- and five-year term options. This filing provides consumers
with an additional, two-year term option. The two-year term option is priced approximately 5%
less than the one-year term. The three-year term is approximately 15% less than the one-year
term.
The Company expects the additional option to encourage customer retention and mitigate
any revenue decreases from the lower prices.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission approve this Advice.
