AMNDMENT TO
APPLICATION
COMES NOW Capitol Water Corporation ("Capitol, "Applicant" or
"Company"), holder of Certificate of Convenience and Necessity Number 239 and files
this amendment to Capitol's Application in this case.
The Idaö Public Utilties Commssion issued Order Number 30722 Idaö Power
Company's Case No. IPC-E-08-10 on Januar 30, 2009. The rates approved for Idaho
Power Company by that order have a signficant and substatial effect on Applicants
request in ths case.
En.closed Amended Exhbit NO.1 indicates on line 21 that Applicant now has an
incremental make whole revenue requirement of$51,580 in lieu of the $48,739 as shown
on the original Exhbit NO.1 in this case. Ths difference of$2,841 is due only to the
change approved by the Commission in Idaho Power Company's electrc tarff rates.
This change produces an increase of 8.257% in Capitol Water Corporations rates rather
than the increase of7.80% originally proposed.
Also enclosed are amended Tarff Schedules 1,2 and 4 (3 page Exhibit No.3)
that reflect the amended rates proposed for Capitol Water Corporations customers.
An electronic copy of Applicant's Excel spreadsheet calculations ha been
provided to the Commission Staff via electronic transmission on this date.

MISCELLANEOUS:If the installation of a private fire service requires an extension
of the existing mains of the utilty, the cost of such
extension shall be borne by the customer.
All private fire service shall be equipped with sealed gate
valves or thermal automatic openings.
Meters may be placed on fire services by the utilty at any
time, however, metered rates wil not apply unless improper
use of water is disclosed. In that event, usage wil be biled
to the customer under rate Schedule No.2.
