As you may know, Tony Bowar, the owner of Brian Water Corp has transferred to the Brian Subdivision
Water Users Association, the water system he formerly operated in our subdivision. Mr. Bowar has left
Idaho, and no longer has any connection to the water system. You may also be aware that Mr. Bowar
was under an order from DEQ to remove contaminants in the water being supplied to residents of Brian
Subdivision. Because Bowar lacked the capability to correct the problem, homeowners in the
subdivision came together as an organization to find solutions to the water contamination issue.
Ultimately, it became apparent that the only way for us to move forward was to acquire the system.
The Brian Subdivision Water Users Association, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation established solely for
the purpose of operating the water system. As .a not-for-profit corporation, we are not a regulated
utility. Therefore, we respectfully request that you cancel the CPCN under which the former Brian
Water Corp operated.
