The rate for consumption of more than 4,000 gallons would remain the same at $1.08 for every 1,000 gallons.   The water company serves nearly 50 households in the Brian Park Subdivision, east of Boise along State Highway 21. The company claims it has incurred $12,000 in additional repair expenses and increased electric rates and will need additional funds to replace aging meters.   Commission staff members will explain the company’s application to those attending the workshop and allow customers and other interested parties to ask questions of commission staff. Representatives of the company may also be on hand to answer questions.   The workshop will begin at 7 p.m., Jan. 16, in the commission hearing room at 472 W. Washington St. in Boise.   Customers can also submit written comments on the company’s application by no later than Jan. 24.
