RE: Algoma Water System Rate Case

Dear Ms. Noriyuki,

Please find included with this letter a Rate Case spreadsheet for the Algoma Water
System. As your records will show it has been a significant time since the last rate change
for the system.

The spreadsheet demonstrates a need for around a 180% increase in rates. We would
request that the rates only be doubled to an amount of $54.00 for residential users and
$89.00 for commercial users. We will review the cost to operate the system after a few
years of this rate structure and if needed, we will request another increase at that time.

company completed the spreadsheet and can answer any questions or provide any more
