BACKGROUND On March 15, 2005, Potlatch Telephone Company filed its tariff advice requesting Commission approval to omit military personnel who are on active duty from the ten (10) month maximum time limit, as set forth in its Account Retention Service Tariff. DISCUSSION Currently a customer may retain current phone number and associated services when they temporarily disconnect service. When the customer reconnects service they receive the same phone number and associated services they previously held. The Company charges a monthly rate of $5.00 per line on an account that is on account retention. Upon the customer request to activate the service, subsequent service order charges and central office charges apply for reconnect to regular service. The Company requests that the tariff change omit military personnel from the maximum ten (10) month account retention requirement.
