AVU-G-I0-0l PETITION TO INTERVENE OF CLEARWATER PAPER CORPORATION COMES NOW, The CLEARWATER PAPER CORPORATION, hereinafter referred to as "Intervenor," and pursuant to this Commission's Rules of Procedure, Rule 71 IDAPA 31.01.01.71 hereby petitions the Commission for leave to intervene herein and to appear and paricipate herein as a part, and as grounds therefore states as follows: 1. This Intervenor, the Clearater Paper Corporation is a customer of Avista Corporation ("A vista") and receives electric and natural gas utilty services from A vista pursuat to Tariff LP.U.C. No. 28 (Electric) and Tariff LP.U.C. No..27 (Natural Gas). Clearater Paper Corporation claims a direct and substatial interest in this proceeding in that its rates for service from A vista will be affected by the outcome of this proceeding. 3. This Intervenor intends to paricipate herein as a par, and if necessary, to introduce evidence, cross-examine witnesses, call and examine witnesses, and be heard in argument. The natue and quality of evidence which ths Intervenor wil introduce is dependent upon the nature and effect of other evidence in this proceeding. CLEARWATER CORPORATION PETITION TO INTERVENE - 2 5. Without the opportunity to intervene herein, this Intervenor would be without any means of paricipation in this proceeding which may have a material impact on its electric and natual gas rates and the terms and conditions of such service. 6. Granting this Intervënpr's petition to intervene will not unduly broaden the issues nor will it prejudice any pary to this case.
