Coeur Silver Valley, Inc. (hereinafter "Coeur") petitions
the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to grant it intervention
status in the matter of the application of Avista Corporation for
the authority to increase its rates and charges for electric and
natural gas services to electric and natural gas customers in the
State of Idaho.Coeur has a direct and substantial interest in
Avista s request to increase the rates and charges in that the
requested increases amount to over $150,000.00 per year in the
operation of Coeur ' s mining operation.
