RE: Proposed Union Pacific Ralroad Abandonment in Coeur d'Alene,
(STB Docket No. AB-33 (Sub-No. 272X)
Dear Ron:
Than you for your letter of July 29,2008 inormng me of Union Pacific's intent to abandon the
above referenced rail line. I will tr to follow the progress of this abandonment though the STB's
website but I would also appreciate it if you would copy me with any inormation that is fied with
the Idaho PUC as well as notice of any public hearngs.
I believe that the city of Coeur d'Alene supports this abandonment and I do not believe that ths
abandonment will adversely affect Idao or the citizens of Coeur d'Alene. There are curently no
rail shippers on ths line and I am not aware of any prospective shippers.
Thans again for the letter and I look forward to seeing you and the commissioners in Coeur d'Alene
for the public hearng.
