Dear Mr. Saylors:
Our office has been notified that Union Pacific Railroad proposes to
abandon 0.21 miles of railline on the Dry Valley Subdivision located near Dry
Valley in Caribou County, Idaho. No historic properties are known
to exist within the project area. With this in mind and considering the minor
nature of this undertaking, we feel the proposed abandonment will have
effect on historic properties.
We appreciate your cooperation. If you have any questions, please feel
free to contact me at 208-334-3847.
Sincerely,
Susan Pengilly Neitzel
Deputy SHPO and
Compliance Coordinator
