Dear Mr. Saylors:
Our office received the Combined Environmental and Historical
Report for the proposed abandonment of Union Pacific s Coeur d' Alene
Industrial Lead from MP 2.25 Feeley Spur to MP 7.50 near Gibbs, Idaho. Our
letter of April 27, 2004, requested information on any buildings or structures
associated with this railline that are fifty years old or older.
The historical report states that there are "no structures over fifty years
in age which are affected by the proposed abandonment." If this is the case
we feel the proposed abandonment will have no effect on historic properties.
We appreciate your cooperation. If you have any questions, please feel
free to contact me at 208-334-3847.
Sincerely,
0J~~. Susan Pengilly Neitzel
Deputy SHPO and
Compliance Coordinator
