It has been brought to my attention that for at least the past three years, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission has yet to receive any accident reports as required by the Commission’s Railroad Accident Reporting Rules (IDAPA 31.71.02.00).  I have enclosed a copy of these rules for your convenience.
This is to request that you send a copy of all monthly reports for the past year and continue to submit monthly reports in a timely manner.  Failure to file such reports can result in a formal complaint action against your Company.  Please be aware that the Commission’s Accident Reporting Rules require railroads operating within the state of Idaho to file periodic reports regardless of whether an accident has occurred.
