RE: Contract reimbursement

Dear Ed,

Based upon your most recent billing, I have enclosed a check made out in the amount of $7,317. This check together with previous reimbursements totals $12,000, the maximum amount of the contract. This leaves a billing balance of approximately $1,000.

Unfortunately, the Commission advised me that it is unable to exceed the contract amount of $12,000 given budgetary pressures of this case and other cases.

I anticipate that the STB will issue its decision on or about September 10, 2000. When a decision is issued, I will forward a copy to you. If you have any questions, please contact me at [phone].
