Re: Abandonment of the Camas Prairie Spalding-Grangeville Branch

Dear Paul,

I have enclosed for your review a contract for technical services concerning the proposed abandonment of the Spalding-Grangeville branch. If this contract meets with your approval, sign both copies where indicated and return one copy to me with your completed W-9 (enclosed). In addition, I also need your tax ID number in paragraph 19.

I have also enclosed for your review the Railroad’s draft Environmental And Historical Report (EHR). The Commission has hired L.E. Peabody and Associates to assist in the rail costing/revenues and track/structure areas. Joe Plaistow is doing our rail accounting work and Dick McDonald is our track and structure expert.
