RE: BLM Information Regarding the Camas Prairie Right-of-Way

Dear Ed,

Enclosed for your information are several documents that I received today from Ron Grant with the BLM. Although you may have already received a copy of the four-page letter signed by Greg Yuncevich, I have enclosed another copy for your review. At a minimum, this letter supports your position that title to the ROW for the Indian Reservation may be clouded because of the various reversionary interests. In addition, the BLM’s letter questions the accuracy of the ATF values for the real estate within the ROW.

Page 2 and 3 of the letter address issues such as the endangered species, suggest that a hazardous material report be prepared, express concern about noxious weeds, and maintain that the tressles and tunnel presents an unacceptable liability and public safety hazard. The letter also questions the Railroad’s calculation of the amount of the reversionary property.

I have included the originals of the material that Ron Grant sent me. The two BLM maps (1996 Editions) shows the Camas Prairie ROW. Also included is a copy of the original survey plat designated No. I-801 and associated documents.
